Getting Started
Using Colorify.pro is straightforward. First, create a free account or sign in. Then choose a processing method, upload your image, and wait for the AI to process it. You can download your enhanced image when processing is complete.
- Choose a method – From the home page, select the tool that matches your goal (e.g., Super Resolution, Colorize, Background Removal).
- Upload your image – Click or drag-and-drop an image (PNG, JPG, WEBP, up to 50MB).
- Configure options – Some tools have settings (e.g., quality for compression, target format for conversion). Adjust as needed.
- Process – Click the process button. Processing time varies from a few seconds to a couple of minutes.
- Download – Once done, preview the result and download the processed image.
Super Resolution (Upscaling)
Super Resolution uses the Real-ESRGAN model to increase image resolution up to 4×. Unlike simple resizing, AI upscaling adds realistic detail and sharpness.
Best for
Low-resolution photos, thumbnails, screenshots, social media images you want to print, and any image you need at a higher resolution. Works on both color and grayscale images.
Tips
- Start with the clearest source image you have—AI cannot invent detail that isn't there.
- Larger input images take longer to process; smaller images are faster.
- The output is always larger than the input; expect 2× or 4× dimensions.
AI Colorization
Our colorization AI analyzes black-and-white images and predicts natural colors for skin, sky, vegetation, clothing, and more. It uses models trained on large datasets of color images to produce realistic results.
Best for
Vintage family photos, historical images, old portraits, and any grayscale photo you want to bring to life with color.
Tips
- Clear, well-lit photos with visible faces and objects give the best results.
- If your photo is damaged, use Colorize & Restore instead for restoration first.
- Some artistic or unusual photos may have unexpected colors; you can try different tools.
Background Removal
Background Removal uses the U²-Net model to separate the main subject from the background. The output is a PNG with a transparent background, ready for compositing or professional use.
Best for
Product photos for e-commerce, portraits, headshots, logos, and any image where you need to isolate the subject.
Tips
- Images with clear contrast between subject and background work best.
- Complex backgrounds or hair/fur may require manual touch-up in an editor.
- Download as PNG to preserve transparency.
Compression & Format Conversion
Compression reduces file size while keeping visual quality. Format conversion lets you change between PNG, JPEG, WEBP, TIFF, and BMP. Both tools are useful for web optimization, email attachments, and archival.
Best for
Reducing image size for websites, converting between formats for compatibility, and preparing images for specific platforms.
Processing History
When you're logged in, all processed images are saved to your History. You can revisit previous results, compare before and after, and re-download anytime. This helps you keep track of your work and reuse past enhancements.
